Text to Speech Software

Panopreter reads any text aloud with natural voices, and reads files in formats of txt, rtf, doc, pdf and web pages. It also reads the text copied to the Windows clipboard from any other software window. Moreover, it converts the text to mp3 and wav audio files, thus you can listen to the audio with a portable mp3 player device later at your convenience.

Text to Speech and Text to MP3 Add-Ins for Internet Explorer and Microsoft Word

Panopreter also includes toolbars for Internet Explorer and Microsoft Word. The toolbars read the text on the web page and Word document aloud. Both toolbars are simple to use. When there is no text selected on the web page or Word document, the whole text will be read aloud; otherwise, the selected text will be read aloud. With a click on the mouse button, you can convert the text to mp3 and wav audio files too.

Panopreter speaks using the default Microsoft text to speech voices on Windows operating systems. On Windows 8 or 8.1, there are three text to speech voices available: Microsoft David (US male), Zira (US female) and Hazel (UK female). On Windows 7 and Vista, the text to speech voice is Microsoft Anna (US female). On Windows XP, Microsoft Sam (US male) is the only text to speech voices. Besides these voices, Panopreter supports various languages and voices.
